People achieve things by aiming high, right? They set their sights on things that are worth aspiring to, and they chase it.
I never aim high enough. I don’t bother to even ask about things that seem hard or out of reach, because I somehow believe that I’m not important enough for dreaming so big.
This morning I proved myself wrong. I emailed someone who’s a hero of mine, and asked if he’d care to interview for LGWABP. Within a few hours, he’d emailed back to say yes.
The lesson I learned: I can aim high. It won’t always work, but it’s not impossible. I just need to believe in myself and try. I can surprise myself.

Well done darling! I know how excited you were to get the interview.
And I know how you feel – when I interviewed my heroes it was all I could do to stop myself jumping up and down, screaming.
There’s probably some really interesting psychology behind you not thinking your good enough! And you obviously don’t have to answer, but try and think *why* you think this, and then turn it around! of course you are worthy!
It’s funny, I acheive heaps of things (to blow my own horn and all) but I never really think of it as ‘aiming high’. I simply work out what I want and go for it.

And that’s why I admire you. You just get shit done. And you keep on moving! It’s great.

This is excellent advice. You really do hold yourself back if you don’t even try and aim for things if they’re a little harder.

Ben – this comment went first to my spam. It’s never done that before?
I hope you take this advice too 🙂
